Spring Application & Guidelines

The London Children’s Flower Society has been running flower growing competitions for more than 60 years and with the current trend for gardening we are ideally placed to encourage school children to “have a go” and grow something.  We aim to match the needs of the schools and enhance the requirements of the national curriculum.  Here is a reminder of what we offer:

·  Bulbs at very competitive prices and with free delivery

·  Free self adhesive name labels with every pot bought

·  Free set of educational posters

·  No entry fee for the competition

·  Our judges will visit on a date convenient to you and award every child a merit certificate

·  Schools can win trophies and prizes, including garden tools sets, gardening vouchers, books and educational visits to public gardens.

THE FINAL CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE FRIDAY 16^TH OCTOBER 2009.

            NOTE: Bulbs and pots will be dispatched direct from our suppliers.  Planting instructions, posters and name labels will be sent with the order confirmation from this office.  The orders will be dealt with promptly and both ourselves and our bulb supplier will aim to avoid half term dates for delivery.
